Institutional Overview

Academic Publishing

The Institute of Central Computation and Knowledge Inc. (ICCK) is an academic publisher incorporated in the United States in 2022. ICCK publishes peer-reviewed scholarly journals, operating under the core practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). The ICCK maintains a portfolio of open-access and subscription-based periodicals, with editorial processes governed by independent editorial boards.

COPE Core Practices ICCK follows the core practices of the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE) across all journals. Editors, authors, and reviewers are expected to adhere to these standards. Cases of suspected misconduct are handled in accordance with COPE flowcharts and procedures.

Editorial decisions are made solely on scholarly merit, independent of commercial considerations. Each journal operates with a defined scope, an identifiable editor-in-chief, and a named editorial board whose members are listed publicly. Peer review is conducted by qualified subject-matter experts; the type and criteria of review are disclosed in each journal's author guidelines.

ICCK assigns DOIs to all published articles and maintains stable, persistent URLs for the scholarly record, and any fees associated with publication are disclosed in advance.

Editorial Standards and Publication Quality

The following practices are required of all ICCK journals:

1
Peer review: All content undergoes documented peer review prior to acceptance. The review type (single-blind or double-blind) is stated explicitly in author guidelines.
2
Reference integrity: ICCK applies rigorous reference checks to all submitted manuscripts. Every citation must be accurate, traceable, and directly relevant to the work in which it appears. References to sources that are inaccessible, retracted, self-serving, or unrelated to the manuscript's content are not accepted. Authors are required to verify each reference prior to submission.
3
Publication timeliness: Journals publish on a regular, declared schedule. Issues appear as announced; delays are communicated to authors without undue postponement.
4
International standards: Articles are published in English with complete bibliographic information — title, author names and affiliations, structured abstract, and keywords — on every manuscript.
5
Roman script references: All references include Roman-script equivalents where necessary to support citation indexing and bibliographic tracing.
6
Editorial board transparency: Editorial board members are identified by name, institution, and country. Boards reflect the geographic and disciplinary scope of each journal.
7
Author and affiliation disclosure: All authors and their institutional affiliations are listed on each article. Contact details for the corresponding author are provided.
8
Ethical conduct statements: Journals require declarations of conflicts of interest, funding sources, data availability, and — where applicable — ethics committee approval and informed consent.
9
Retraction and correction policy: Errors, retractions, and expressions of concern are handled promptly and according to COPE guidelines. Corrections are linked to original articles and indexed accordingly.
10
Originality and plagiarism screening: Submitted manuscripts are checked for plagiarism and duplicate publication prior to peer review. Self-plagiarism and text recycling policies are stated explicitly.
11
Persistent identifiers: DOIs and ARKs are assigned to all published articles. ORCID integration is encouraged for authors to support accurate attribution and citation tracking.
12
Archiving and long-term preservation: Published content is deposited with recognised digital preservation services to ensure long-term accessibility of the scholarly record.

Operational Principles

ICCK operates on the principle that quality in academic publishing is achieved through consistent process rather than through claims of prestige. The following commitments apply across all journals and govern day-to-day editorial operations.

Editorial independence: Editorial decisions are made by editors on the basis of scholarly merit and are not subject to influence from the publisher, advertisers, or other parties with financial interests.

Transparent ownership and governance: ICCK's ownership, publishing model, and any changes to journal scope or title are disclosed publicly and communicated to authors, readers, and indexing services without delay.

Author rights: Authors are informed of their rights regarding re-use, and post-publication sharing prior to submission. Licencing terms are stated without ambiguity.

Indexing and discoverability: ICCK actively pursues indexing in recognised databases and ensures that metadata — including abstracts, keywords, and citation data — is complete, accurate, and regularly updated.

Continuous improvement: Editorial processes and quality standards are reviewed periodically. Feedback from authors, reviewers, and readers is used to identify and address deficiencies.
