I am a dedicated academician and researcher in the field of Computer Science, with expertise in Intelligent Decision-Making, Predictive Analytics, and Software Engineering. With over 16 years of academic experience, I am currently serving as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the Virtual University of Pakistan. My research focuses on developing innovative solutions to real-world problems, particularly in the domains of Data Mining, Software Engineering, and Applied Data Science, with cross-disciplinary applications in healthcare, finance, and industrial software systems.
Throughout my career, I have remained focused on making meaningful contributions to both research and the broader academic community. To date, I have authored and co-authored more than 60 research publications, including papers in prestigious international journals and conferences.
I actively contribute to the scholarly ecosystem as a reviewer for over 40 international, well-reputed, and prestigious journals, and I have served as a Scientific Committee member for several international conferences. These roles reflect my commitment to upholding academic rigor and fostering innovation across my areas of expertise.
As part of my academic responsibilities, I take pride in guiding and mentoring the next generation of researchers and technology leaders. I have supervised more than 20 MSCS thesis students, helping them overcome research challenges and encouraging them to develop impactful contributions in their fields. This role is deeply fulfilling for me, as I am passionate about nurturing intellectual curiosity and research skills among students.
Beyond research and teaching, I strongly believe in the power of interdisciplinary collaboration. I actively engage with local and international researchers, contributing to collaborative research efforts that address complex, real-world challenges. As Data Science, Software Engineering, and Machine Learning continue to evolve at a rapid pace, I remain committed to exploring new research avenues and contributing to the advancement of these dynamic fields.
