As one of the most authoritative and internationally recognized global directories for high-quality, peer-reviewed open access journals, DOAJ applies stringent inclusion criteria that reflect a journal's dedication to academic integrity, editorial transparency, open science principles, and best practices in scholarly publishing. Being accepted into DOAJ is a meaningful recognition of RS's ongoing commitment to excellence in disseminating cutting-edge research in reservoir science — spanning novel reservoir characterization theories, advanced computational and simulation methods, innovative modeling techniques, and interdisciplinary applications across geoscience and energy engineering.

This indexing will substantially enhance RS's global visibility, accessibility, and discoverability, enabling researchers, institutions, and readers around the world to more readily locate, access, and cite the work published in our journal. We believe this will foster broader international collaboration and contribute meaningfully to the advancement of reservoir science as a discipline.

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all authors, reviewers, editorial board members, and EiC whose tireless efforts and unwavering commitment to scholarly rigor have made this achievement possible. We are equally grateful to our readers for their continued enthusiasm and steadfast support.

Looking ahead, RS will remain steadfast in upholding our core values of openness, innovation, rigor, and excellence. We are dedicated to continuing to publish high-quality, original research at the cutting edge of reservoir science, and to serving the global research community with increasing depth and impact.

We look forward to bringing you many more outstanding publications in the months and years to come!
