Hybrid Open Access Journal

ICCK Transactions on Data Augmentation (TDA) is a Hybrid Open Access journal. By default, accepted articles are published under a subscription-based access model, available exclusively to institutional and individual subscribers.

Articles are paywalled and accessible only to subscribers. No APC is charged to the author.

Optional — Open Access

Authors may opt in to make their article immediately and freely accessible under CC BY 4.0, allowing unlimited reading, reuse, and redistribution with proper attribution.

APC Fully Waived Until September 2026

The Article Processing Charge (APC) for Open Access publication is completely waived for all authors who choose the Open Access option during this introductory period.

Article Processing Charges from October 2026

Starting October 2026, an Article Processing Charge applies only to authors who select the Open Access publication option. This charge covers editorial management, peer review coordination, online hosting, and long-term digital preservation.

Waiver and Discount Policy

A waiver and discount policy will be implemented from October 2026 to ensure equitable access for researchers across all regions.

50% APC Discount: Authors affiliated with institutions in low-income countries (as classified by the World Bank) are eligible for a 50% discount on the Open Access APC, reducing the charge from USD 1,500 to USD 750.

Authors seeking a waiver or discount should indicate their eligibility at the time of manuscript submission. Requests will be reviewed by the editorial office on a case-by-case basis.

Subscription Access

Subscription-access articles are available through institutional library agreements and individual subscriptions. Institutions may contact the editorial office to inquire about licensing and access terms.

Important: Subscription-access articles remain under copyright. Redistribution, reproduction, or posting to public repositories without authorization from the publisher is not permitted.
