Investigating the high-quality development of rural home-stays is beneficial for local employment and economic growth, promotes urban-rural exchange, aids in the perfection of the tourism industry chain, and enhances the overall competitiveness of tourism. This paper takes 50 operators of rural home-stays in Conghua District as interview subjects, and through in-depth interviews, analyzes the current development status and existing problems of rural home-stays. It proposes feasible suggestions from four levels: home-stay operators, government, industry associations, and universities, providing strong support for the high-quality development of home-stays in Guangdong Province.
