Hamza Kheddar

Summary
Dr. Hamza Kheddar (Senior Member, IEEE) received his Master’s degree in Telecommunications from the National Higher School of Telecommunications and Information Technology (ENSTTIC) and his Ph.D. in Telecommunications from USTHB University. In June 2021, he earned his Habilitation degree. Previously, he served as a Core Network Expert at Huawei, specializing in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region. He is currently an Associate Professor at the University of Médéa and a Researcher at the LSEA Laboratory, Médéa, Algeria. Dr. Kheddar has authored numerous research papers published in prestigious international journals and conferences. His research interests encompass a broad spectrum of topics, including speech processing and recognition, image classification, steganography and steganalysis, intrusion detection, covert channels, digital twins, deep learning, 5G/6G security, biometrics, generative AI, and large language models. In addition to his research contributions, he actively participates in academic and professional communities. He serves as the Telecommunications Track Chair for several international conferences, including IC2M 2023 and ICTSS 2024. He is also an Associate Editor for IECE Transactions on Cybersecurity and a dedicated reviewer for leading journals such as Computers & Security, IEEE Access, IEEE Transactions on Information Forensics and Security, Computer Speech & Language, Applied Intelligence, and Speech Communication.
