Summary
Dr. Kapil Joshi is an Associate Professor in the department of Computer Science & Engineering (CSE) at Uttaranchal Institute of Technology (UIT), Uttaranchal University, Dehradun, Uttarakhand, India. He has completed his Ph.D, topic on “Image Quality Enhancement using Fusion Technique” in computer science and engineering from Uttaranchal University, Dehradun. He has more than 10 years' experience in industry, academic, and research. His areas of interest are Operating System, Computer Networks, Web Technology, Data Structure and Java etc. His research areas are deep learning, CNN, Computer vision etc. He has published various patents, 400+ research papers in reputed journals (UGC/Scopus) as well as published 30+ books in international publication. Dr. Kapil Joshi has published more than 50+ research papers in various international journals (including ISI/SCI indexed). He has also been associated with many conferences at National and International level and organized many conferences like STEM-2017, ICACDS-18, ICAESMT-19, ICAEST-20, ICAEST-21, ICIS-22, ICNN-22, IDVRP-22, ICAEST-22 and ICAEST-23. He is also a professional and Senior member of IEEE UP section, editorial member, advisory member, associate editor, guest editor and technical reviewers in various reputed national/international journals like Wiley, MDPI, Springer, Elsevier and Taylorfrancis etc. Dr. Joshi organized several conferences and has been invited as a key-speaker in various workshops/conferences. Dr. Joshi has filed/published more than 40 patents. He has written 10+ books and more than 40+ book chapters in the reputed publications. Dr. Kapil Joshi has guided 20+ M.Tech students and 10+ PhD students so far. He has chaired many International and National Conferences and was also invited as Keynote Speaker /Session Chair in many events. He has been awarded with “Best Young Researcher" Award in Global Education and Corporate Leadership (GECL-21) received by Life Way Tech India Pvt. Ltd. in 2021, Excellence in Research of the Year-2023 Award by Shri Anand Vardhan, IAS, Additional Chief Secretary, Govt of Uttarakhand in DISTF-2023. He also appointed as an Asia Coordinator in “International Association for the promotion of Asia-Africa Research” (IAPAAR) from 2020.

Abstract
According to the President of the United Nations, AI holds enormous promise for accelerating progress towards numerous United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). This paper focuses on various applications of technologies such as artificial neural networks (ANN) and deep learning (DL) in the development of pharmaceutical solid dosage forms. DL is a subset of machine learning (ML) that utilizes extensive experimental data to learn through advanced methods like artificial neural networks.
