He is the Member of AEIC Academic Committee, Member of Viser Academic Committee, Singapore, Member of the Electrical Automation Professional Committee of the Chinese Association of Automation, Member of the Electrical Control System and Device Professional Committee of the China Electrotechnical Society, Senior Member of China Electrotechnical Society, and IEEE Membership. He served as Editor-in-Chief of ICCK Transactions on Electric and Hybrid Vehicles, Editorial Board Member of Journal of Modern Green Energy, Electric Drive, Advances in Resources and Environmental Science; Topical Advisory Panel Member of Electrochem; Guest Editors of Special Issues in Energies, Symmetry, Electronics, Electrochem, etc. Twice awarded the China Patent Excellence Award and twice won the Gold Award at the Geneva International Invention Exhibition. Best Researcher Award in Math Scientist Awards. His current research interests include electric vehicles and battery management technology.

Abstract
The Coulomb counting method is simple and effective in terms of state of charge (SOC) estimation of lithium-ion batteries. However, if the current measurement is not accurate, it will cause a cumulative calculation error, which will gradually increase with the time. And if the ambient temperature changes, the available capacity and initial SOC of the battery will also change.
