Effect of Scanning Power on Electrochemical Corrosion Properties of AlCoCrFeNi High Entropy Alloy Coating Melted by Extremely High-speed Laser Cladding

Abstract
High-entropy alloy (HEA) coatings have become a candidate for corrosion protection of marine engineering equipment in harsh service environments. In this paper, the effect of laser scanning power on the microstructure and electrochemical corrosion resistance of HEA coating prepared by Extremely High-speed Laser Cladding (EHLC) was investigated. The coating was prepared by EHLC technology. The microstructure of the coating was characterized by XRD and SEM. The corrosion resistance of the coating in \(3.5\%\) NaCl solution was investigated by electrochemical measurement.
