Abstract
Ecosystem service valuation (ESV) provides a scientific basis for balancing ecological conservation and socioeconomic development. With the rapid progress of Earth observation technologies, remote sensing has become an essential tool for quantifying and mapping ecosystem services at multiple spatial and temporal scales.
