Roland Alicer T. Castro is a graduate of BS Nutrition and Dietetics at University of Santo Tomas. He took his graduate studies at Philippine Women's University with the degree of MS Clinical Nutrition. As a registered nutritionist-dietitian, his main practice of the profession is in the field hospital dietetics both in the administrative and clinical settings. Currently being almost 10 years in the field, he values holistic, evidence-based approach in the practice of nutrition and dietetics.

Abstract
Previous studies showed estimated prevalence of diet non-adherence among maintenance hemodialysis patients ranged from 10.6 to 60.2\%.
