Academic Profile

DEKHICI Latifa is a full professor in computer sciences in USTO-MB where she has notably served for 5 years as the Vice Dean of Post-graduation, scientific research and external relationship and she is currently also a researcher in LDREI, Smart Grid Developement laboratory in the Higher School of Electrical and Energetic engineering of Oran. She has already partipated in many national scienitifc and international Erasmus capacity building projects as a computer sciences member in modeling, coding and in simulation as well as a trainer in many sustainability; digitalization; accessibilty, cyber responsability, soft skills and inclusivity activities and serious game design. Her extensive research interests span across metaheuristics, simulation, energy system design, green transportation, dependability, artificial intelligence, and gamification.

Abstract
Efficient coordination of directional overcurrent relays (DOCRs) is a crucial aspect of any protection plan design. This involves selecting appropriate parameters, such as Time Dial Setting (TDS) and Plug Setting (PS) or Pick-up current (Ip), through an optimization approach to minimize the total tripping time of directional overcurrent protection relays positioned at a specific location.
