A Study on the Relationship Between Parenting Styles, Subjective Well-Being, and Explanatory Styles Among College Students
Journal of Digital Intelligence in Education | Volume 1, Issue 1: 42-57, 2026 | DOI: 10.62762/JDIE.2025.159515
Abstract
This study aims to explore the influence of parental parenting styles on college students' explanatory styles and to examine the mediating role of subjective well-being in this relationship. Using convenience sampling, 303 valid questionnaires were collected from undergraduate students. Data were analyzed using SPSS 27.0 Chinese Edition, employing independent samples t-tests, one-way ANOVA, simple effect analyses, correlation analyses, and regression analyses, while the mediating effect was tested using the product coefficient method with Bootstrap sampling via the PROCESS plugin. Results indicated that: (1) certain dimensions of parental parenting styles showed differences by gender and onl... More >

Understanding Social Support and Depression among College Students in Ethnic Areas: the Chain Mediation of Cognitive Reappraisal and Basic Psychological Needs
Journal of Digital Intelligence in Education | Volume 1, Issue 1: 31-41, 2026 | DOI: 10.62762/JDIE.2025.447149
Abstract
To explore the relationship and mediating mechanisms among perceived social support, depression, cognitive reappraisal, and basic psychological needs among college students in ethnic regions, this study conducted a questionnaire survey of 968 college students using the Perceived Social Support Scale, Emotion Regulation Questionnaire (Cognitive Reappraisal subscale), Basic Psychological Needs Scale, and Center for Epidemiological Studies Depression Scale (CES-D). The aim was to analyze the impact and underlying mechanisms of perceived social support on their depression. The results indicate that: (1) there is a significant pairwise relationship between perceived social support, depression, co... More >

From AI "Disabling" to "Enabling": An Empirical Study on Digital-Intelligent Learning among Students Majoring in Smart Agriculture
Journal of Digital Intelligence in Education | Volume 1, Issue 1: 17-30, 2026 | DOI: 10.62762/JDIE.2026.651948
Abstract
Against the backdrop of deep AI-agriculture integration, smart agriculture has become a key direction for agricultural modernization, demanding higher digital-intelligent learning competence from university students. As a core competency for leveraging AI to engage in agricultural information technology learning and solve practical problems, the mechanisms underlying its formation remain underexplored. This study targets undergraduate and graduate students in smart agriculture-related majors, constructing a theoretical model based on the dual dimensions of external technological characteristics and internal learning processes. It systematically investigates how key factors—including the te... More >

Teaching Research and Practice of 'General Chemistry' in Agriculture and Forestry Education Focused on Cultivating Innovative Ability
Journal of Digital Intelligence in Education | Volume 1, Issue 1: 5-16, 2026 | DOI: 10.62762/JDIE.2025.605046
Abstract
Taking the "General Chemistry" course—a public foundational course for agriculture-related majors and a postgraduate entrance examination subject in agricultural and forestry universities—as the research object, this study adheres to the Outcome-Based Education (OBE) philosophy and the "Four-Integration" principle (integrating science and agriculture, science and education, industry and education, and ideological-political education). It reconstructed advanced teaching content of "connection points–knowledge points–thematic inquiry series" to address the misalignment between course content and agricultural development needs, while seamlessly integrating ideological-political elements... AI-Empowered Education: Challenges, Principles, and Interdisciplinarity in the Digital Intelligence Era
Journal of Digital Intelligence in Education | Volume 1, Issue 1: 1-4, 2026 | DOI: 10.62762/JDIE.2026.697563
Abstract
Against the backdrop of rapid advances in artificial intelligence and learning analytics, educational systems are undergoing structural transformation. The misalignment between the technicality of proposed solutions and the inherent complexity of education itself, the disconnect between researchers' design rationale and educators' practical experience, and the imbalance between data-driven decision-making and the humanistic values of education have given rise to research agendas that lack empirical validation and entail potential risks. As the inaugural editorial of the Journal of Digital Intelligence in Education, this article articulates the journal’s academic positioning, research scope... More >
