How Does Math Anxiety Affect Students' Academic Achievement in Mathematics? —A Meta-Analysis Based on 31 Experimental Studies
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 1, Issue 4: 131-142, 2024 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2024.672218
Abstract
In the stage of compulsory education, there are still many researches on the relationship between math anxiety and students' math achievement. If we cannot understand the internal mechanism between students' emotions and learning performance, we cannot establish a microfoundation for monitoring the quality of compulsory education. In order to further identify the logical relationship between math anxiety and students' math achievement, we systematically collected 31 relevant literature from 2014 to 2024, including a total of 106,636 student samples, and conducted a meta-analysis based on the random effects model. The results show that the correlation coefficient between math anxiety and stud... More >

The Influences of Transformational Leadership on the Organizational Innovation Performance
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 1, Issue 4: 113-130, 2024 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2024.300794
Abstract
This study aims to explore the enhancement of corporate innovation and performance by analyzing the internal and external corporate environments and their synergistic effects. It emphasizes the importance of human capital, with a spotlight on leaders as the primary shapers of the internal corporate environment. Drawing from existing literature, a theoretical framework is established to investigate the effects of transformational leadership on organizational innovation outcomes. Through the creation of scales and questionnaires, a survey was conducted at Beijing T Company, and the data was empirically analyzed using regression techniques. The findings indicate that transformational leadership... More >

Enhancing Energy Performance in Irish Dwellings: A Machine Learning Approach to Retrofit Interventions
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 1, Issue 4: 100-112, 2024 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2024.898106
Abstract
This research investigates the impact of retrofit interventions on the energy performance of domestic buildings in Ireland using predictive machine learning (ML) models. The study applies machine learning models to classify the Building Energy Rating (BER) of dwellings in County Dublin, Ireland. With a focus on feature selection in a highly correlated dataset, the study predicts energy ratings with an accuracy of 69%. The Light Gradient Boosting Machine classifier is observed to achieve the best performance among more than twenty ML models applied for prediction. The study also performs retrofit experiments on dwelling features and evaluates their effectiveness in improving energy performanc... More >

Has the Digitization of Education Improved Students' Academic Performance?--A Meta-Analysis Based on 21 Experimental and Quasi-Experimental Studies
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 1, Issue 3: 89-99, 2024 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2024.199620
Abstract
The breakthrough innovations in the application of digital technologies in education have become increasingly widespread, making educational digital transformation a focal point in the realm of education. Presently, numerous empirical studies have explored the impact of educational digital transformation on students' academic performance, yielding inconsistent findings regarding its effects on learning outcomes and capabilities in students' learning development. To this end, the article employs a meta-analysis approach to systematically review and analyze 21 experimental and quasi-experimental studies within China. The findings reveal that digital transformation in education significantly en... More >

The Role of “Reintegrative Shaming” in Juvenile Criminal Justice
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 1, Issue 3: 83-88, 2024 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2024.909972
Abstract
Taking China as an example, “Reintegrative Shaming” can provide new ideas for the progress of juvenile criminal justice, especially educational correction. Although “Reintegrative Shaming” is often regarded as a philosophy of law, it is not only a theory but also a feasible method supported by psychological evidence. The emotional experience of shame has a moderating effect on the behavioral habits of minors, and appropriate forgiveness can help avoid the negative effects of excessive shame. In order to effectively apply “Reintegrative Shaming” in juvenile criminal justice, it is necessary to rationalize the conduct of exhortatory meetings and to give due consideration to the par... The Consumption Willingness of Medicinal Food in the Context of Traditional Chinese Medicine Cultural Identity: Taking Guangzhou City as an Example
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 1, Issue 2: 72-82, 2024 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2024.970448
Abstract
With the innovative development of traditional Chinese medicine and the implementation of China's Great Health Strategy, the food and medicine industry has ushered in new development opportunities. However, the development of traditional Chinese medicine still faces challenges such as irrational resource allocation and the need to modernize governance. This study explores the influence of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) cultural identity on the consumption intention of medicinal food, as well as the roles of perceived consumption value and perceived consumption risk in this process. Based on cultural identity theory, perceived risk theory, and consumption value theory, a research model wa... More >

The Impact of Market Orientation and Self-Perception on the Heterogeneity of Cooperative Members: Analysis Based on Structural Equation Modeling
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 1, Issue 2: 61-71, 2024 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2024.184862
Abstract
Effective governance and operation of cooperatives will play an important role in rural revitalization. Taking Henan Province as an example, this paper uses structural equation model to analyze the impact of external market orientation and internal self-awareness on the heterogeneity of farmers' professional cooperatives. It is concluded that the formation of the heterogeneity of farmer specialized cooperative members is not only caused by the influence of external market factors, but also caused by the difference in the degree of self-cognition of members. Moreover, the influence degree of market factors is greater than that of members' self-cognition, and the direct influence effects are 0... More >

Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 1, Issue 2: 53-60, 2024 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2024.808276
Abstract
With the rapid development of the economy, the gradual formation of the logistics Internet and the advent of the era of science and technology have promoted the rapid rise of the logistics industry. This paper studies the development and application of smart warehousing under the smart logistics system by taking Guangzhou Porcelain Cosmetics Co., Ltd. as an example and using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). The results show that the company chooses warehouse B as the best location. Finally, this paper identifies the existing problems in the warehousing system and provides targeted suggestions on improving warehouse storage capacity, reducing rent, and enhancing proximity to important sa...
