Ethical Cognition and Attitudes of Medical Students: A Bibliometric Analysis from 2000 to 2025
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 2, Issue 3: 166-180, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2025.890944
Abstract
This study conducts a bibliometric and scientometric analysis of global research trends in medical ethics education from 2000 to 2025. Drawing on 443 English-language articles retrieved from the Scopus database, the analysis employs VOSviewer to map knowledge structures, identify thematic clusters, and reveal intellectual trajectories. Results show a sustained growth in publication volume and increasing scholarly attention to ethics education across multiple dimensions. Keyword co-occurrence and clustering analysis identify five core thematic areas: ethical identity formation, student engagement with bioethical dilemmas, moral development in early education, public health ethics in policy co... How Entrepreneurial Failure Experience Affects Firms' Entrepreneurial Behaviour-Evidence from the Wuling Mountains Region
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 2, Issue 3: 149-165, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2024.680997
Abstract
The signals of economic recovery are getting stronger and serial entrepreneurship is increasing. Focusing on how to improve the quality of serial entrepreneurship, learning about entrepreneurial failure experiences has become a top priority. Based on the imprinting theory perspective, this study conducted a questionnaire survey among entrepreneurs in the Wuling Mountains to answer the following questions: first, how entrepreneurial failure experience affects entrepreneurial behaviours; and to understand how entrepreneurial failure experience affects entrepreneurial behaviours. Second, how resource bricolage as a mediating variable affects entrepreneurial actions of entrepreneurs in order to... More >

Medal Prediction LASSO-Logistic and Bayesian Probit Models
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 2, Issue 3: 133-148, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2025.975234
Abstract
In Olympic competitions, the dynamic changes in the medal standings are influenced by a variety of factors. We predict the medal distribution for the 2028 Los Angeles Summer Olympics by analyzing historical data. In Task 1.1, we formulated predictive models for the overall medal count, as well as the individual counts for gold, silver, and bronze medals. These models integrated lagged variables and employed multivariate linear regression to ascertain the weightings of various indicators, thereby enabling the projection of the 2028 Olympic Games' medal table. The United States was projected to secure the top position with a total of 145 medals, including 50 gold medals. In Task 1.2, we deploy... More >

Student Dropout Prediction Using Ensemble Learning with SHAP-Based Explainable AI Analysis
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 2, Issue 3: 111-132, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2025.321501
Abstract
Student dropout prediction is a critical challenge in higher education that requires accurate identification of at-risk students to enable timely interventions. This study presents EASE-Predict (Ensemble-SHAP Explainable Student Prediction), a comprehensive ensemble learning framework with SHAP-based explainable AI to predict student academic outcomes. We evaluated five machine learning algorithms (Random Forest, Gradient Boosting, Extra Trees, Logistic Regression, and SVM) and developed voting and stacking ensemble models on a dataset of 4,424 students with 36 features encompassing academic performance, socioeconomic factors, and demographic information.EASE-Predict achieved superior perfo... Analysis and Suggestions on the Legal Protection Dilemma of Online Virtual Property: A Case Study of China
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 2, Issue 3: 105-110, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2025.232129
Abstract
With the wide application and rapid development of the Internet, online virtual property has become an important form of asset, and its protection has attracted more and more attention. At present, there are many deficiencies in the legal protection of online virtual property in China, whether it is legislative, judicial or administrative supervision, and it needs to be improved urgently. This paper first discusses the legal attributes of online virtual property, and analyzes the significance of legal protection of online virtual property based on survey data. Subsequently, the main problems in legal protection in this field in China were analyzed, and some suggestions for improvement were p... More >

Knowledge Mapping Analysis of Research Hotspots and Development Trends in Green Consumption in China—A CiteSpace-Based Study
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 2, Issue 2: 94-104, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2025.119215
Abstract
The global sustainability paradigm, catalyzed by environmental degradation since the 1960s, has positioned green consumption as a critical strategy to reconcile economic growth with ecological preservation. While international scholarship extensively explores this field, China's unique socioeconomic trajectory---marked by rapid industrialization, centralized governance, and the ``dual carbon'' (carbon peak and neutrality) targets---necessitates a dedicated investigation into its indigenous knowledge system. Leveraging CiteSpace, this scientometric study systematically analyzes 2,793 core journal articles from the Chinese National Knowledge Infrastructure (CNKI, 1994--2024) to map the intelle... More >

Cloud Farming: A Potential Innovative Model for Rural E-commerce
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 2, Issue 2: 91-93, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2025.117344
Abstract
Cloud farming, a novel e-commerce model enabled by technologies such as the Internet of Things and big data, is reshaping the landscape of rural agricultural development. By allowing urban consumers to remotely participate in livestock farming through digital platforms, cloud farming establishes a direct connection between producers and consumers, enhances land and labor value in rural areas, and stimulates financial investment. This editorial explores the technical foundations, advantages, and potential risks of cloud farming, including concerns over market uncertainty, financial misconduct, environmental impact, and data security. It concludes that while cloud farming presents considerable... More >

Image Construction of Xi’an City Based on Sentiment Analysis Technology: Problems and Strategies
Journal of Social Systems and Policy Analysis | Volume 2, Issue 2: 85-90, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/JSSPA.2025.115302
Abstract
Based on sentiment analysis technology, this paper analyzes the feedback of foreign tourists visiting Xi’an. The study shows that about 85 percent of tourists have a positive and satisfactory attitude toward Xi’an tourism, and about 8.6 percent of tourists have a negative attitude. The critical comments or suggestions of foreign tourists are reflected in the following aspects: unsavoury food, poor location of hotel, improper itinerary, taking more time to walking, and not good experience in scenic spots. In response to the criticism and suggestions of foreign tourists, some strategies are proposed: at the micro level, activating existing resources and providing quality services; at the m... More >
