Research on Precision Paddy Field Irrigation Control Technology Based on Multi-Source Sensing Hybrid Model
Digital Intelligence in Agriculture | Volume 1, Issue 1: 14-23, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/DIA.2025.680966
Abstract
Rice cultivation accounts for 65% of agricultural water consumption in China but suffers from low irrigation water use efficiency (WUE ≈ 0.80kg/m^3) and severe nitrogen and phosphorus loss, contributing up to 30% of agricultural non-point source pollution. To address these core issues, this study developed a multi-source collaborative sensing-based Intelligent Precision Paddy Irrigation Control System (IPICS). The system integrates satellite and UAV remote sensing with IoT technologies to construct a ``sky-space-ground'' three-dimensional monitoring system, couples the FAO-56 Penman-Monteith model with LSTM deep learning algorithms to establish a dynamic irrigation decision model, and inte... The Tsing-Agri Farm Paradigm: Integrating Controlled Environment Agriculture with Industrial Systems for a Low-Carbon Future
Digital Intelligence in Agriculture | Volume 1, Issue 1: 6-13, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/DIA.2025.899209
Abstract
Agriculture is both a major contributor to and a victim of climate change, accounting for approximately 22–25% of global greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions and facing heightened risks from extreme weather events. International climate frameworks, including the Paris Agreement, emphasize the urgent need for transformative changes in food systems to achieve net-zero emissions by mid-century. In this context, China has pledged to peak carbon emissions by 2030 and reach carbon neutrality by 2060, with agriculture playing a central role. This paper presents the Tsing-Agri Farm, an advanced controlled environment agriculture (CEA) system developed by Beijing TsingSky Technology Co., Ltd., affiliated... More >

Inaugural Editorial for the Digital Intelligence in Agriculture
Digital Intelligence in Agriculture | Volume 1, Issue 1: 1-5, 2025 | DOI: 10.62762/DIA.2025.106155
Abstract
This editorial highlights the importance of establishing the journal Digital Intelligence in Agriculture and the typical applications of digital intelligence technology in agriculture such as planting industry, forestry, animal husbandry, and fishery. Digital intelligence technology is driving global agriculture towards a new stage of smart agriculture characterized by "data-driven and intelligent decision-making". Its core is to achieve comprehensive empowerment of agricultural production, operation, management, and services through technologies such as the Internet of Things, big data, artificial intelligence, cloud computing, and blockchain. Smart technology aims to achieve multiple goals... More >
